Nexus International School is a leader in innovative education, fostering curiosity, independence, and critical thinking in students from diverse global backgrounds. But their old website didn’t tell that story. Outdated and misaligned with the school’s vibrant learning environment, it failed to capture Nexus’s unique teaching philosophy, state-of-the-art facilities, and premium positioning.

Hei was tasked with a bold challenge: create a new website from the ground up that would bridge the gap between perception and reality. The goal wasn’t just to inform, but to immerse. The result? A digital experience that showcases Nexus’s pioneering approach to education, celebrates their community, showcases their dynamic learning spaces, and inspires parents to take the next step.

The Challenge

For a school as forward-thinking as Nexus, their previous website was falling short. While their innovative teaching philosophy and vibrant learning environment set them apart in person, their online presence struggled to tell the same story.

Parents were often left with misconceptions, particularly around the open-plan approach, which many assumed was chaotic rather than intentional and dynamic. This disconnect was particularly stark given the reactions of parents who visited the school in person—many left gobsmacked by the calm, engaged atmosphere and the inspiring teaching methods.

Our challenge was to create an online experience that was able to communicate the Nexus Magic before parents & kids even set foot on campus. Moreover, as a premium school, Nexus needed a digital experience that matched the expectations of its audience—busy, discerning parents making an emotional and financial investment in their child’s future.

Through thoughtful research, we uncovered the heart of the Nexus story and repositioned the brand messaging to challenge outdated perceptions of education. With a bold, modern tone and clear storytelling, the new messaging highlighted their proven academic results and pioneering teaching methods in a way that resonated with today’s globally minded parents.

Visually, we designed an immersive experience that blended large, magazine-style imagery, playful illustrations, and a groundbreaking 360° time-lapse virtual tour that brought Nexus’s dynamic learning environment to life.

Immersion
a virtual tourlike no other
To capture the vibrancy of Nexus International School, we created a virtual tour unlike anything seen before. Traditional school tours feel static and lifeless, showing empty classrooms and sterile environments. We set out to change that by introducing a groundbreaking approach: a 360° interactive time-lapse video tour.

This innovative technique brought the school to life, showcasing students and teachers in action within dynamic, open-plan spaces. Viewers could explore the campus in an immersive, engaging way, seeing firsthand how Nexus’s flexible learning environments adapt to each child’s needs.

The result was an interactive tour brimming with energy and authenticity, offering prospective families a true glimpse into the Nexus difference. The response from the client and viewers was overwhelmingly positive, cementing the virtual tour as a standout feature of the new website.
